Anyone who remembers Gwyneth Paltrow as the overly pudgy, insecure, but loveable character Rose Marie in “Shallow Hal” the film in which she starred with fellow actor Jack Black, knows those exaggerated enhancements were created to make her almost unrecognizable. However, the acclaimed actress is anything but. Fast forward to her recent roles as Robert Downey’s sidekick in the cult classic Iron Man flicks. One look and you know this is a face worth a thousand words.
A Noticeable Nose Job
However, if you do a comparison of before and after photos from years past, you will see that Paltrow does have noticeable changes in the appearance of both her nose and skin. She went from a slightly wide nose to a much more streamlined one, the result of what we, and most of Hollywood, feels were the result of the efforts of a plastic surgeon. While many of Hollywood’s elite go under the knife with less than stellar results, this is a plastic surgery procedure gone well. Paltrow, while exuding a quiet, if elegant style and confidence, isn’t above going under the knife to improve her looks to help sustain her career, as is the case with many celebrities, especially women in show business. Looking at her before and after photos, she definitely looks different.
Botox Gone Bad
While her nose job was well done, she appears drawn, and her face looks pulled tight with overly shiny skin, typical results of “Botox gone bad.” Her cheeks look too shiny, and there are no signs of stress lines. And for a mother of two young children who recently went through a divorce, or, as she states an “uncoupling” there certainly has been a lot of stress in her life. Enough to show at least one age sign. We see none of these typical things on Paltrow, which leads us to believe she did, in fact, have “work done.”
Own Your Stuff
Yet, Paltrow, like many other Hollywood celebrities, denies this, attributing her youthful good looks to her holistic diet and rigid exercise routine. While these are certainly contributors to staying young, overly tight skin and a noticeably narrower nose are definitely not the results of a diet consisting mainly of raw foods. The thing is, if celebrities like Paltrow want these procedures done because it makes them feel better about themselves, that’s fine. Just own it.
